Approximately 80 "Rawhiders" submitted themselves for examination to Rosalie Mackay, world renown choreographer on Sunday the 5th of September. Rosalie was pleased to say that she had a great time and that all candidates passed and did a great job. Their awards will be presented at our next monthly Social on Friday the 1st of October. We are very grateful to Rosalie for fitting Rawhide into her very busy schedule, and appearing as our guest at our September Social and for conducting a Workshop following the examinations on the 5th. |

It has been several years since any of our members were last examined for "Country Awards", and for those that had already achieved Level 1 (trophy on the left) it was good to be able to finally gain Level 2 (on the right). A dozen or so of our members already have completed all three examinations. Level 1, the "Country Award" which stands 24cm high and is examined over four dances, Level 2, the "Intermediate Country Award" which stands 29 cm high and is examined over six dances and Level 3, the "Advanced Country Award" which stands 46 cm high and is examined over eight.
